Police officer Bibiana Steinhaus has entered the football history books
- She became the first woman to referee a major League in Europe
- The 38-year-old was in charge of the tie between Hertha Berlin vs Werder Bremen Bibiana Steinhaus on Sunday, September 10, 2017 registered her name in the football history books by becoming the first woman to referee in European League. The police officer achieved this success in the German Bundesliga encounter between Hertha Berlin and Werder Bremen in which she was superb. Steinhaus' performance however got the stamp of approval from Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery after the match at Olympiastadion.
