FUNAAB 2017/18 POST UTME RESULT IS OUT

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has released the Post-UTME Screening Result for 2017/2018 academic session.

Note that, admission into funaab is based on composite score i.e addition of jamb score +post Utme score+O’Level result.

HOW TO CALCULATE COMPOSITE SCORE

JAMB SCORE*
Whatever you score in jamb, will be divided by 8 i.e assuming a jamb score of 400, that gives 50%. This shows that jamb score constitutes 50% of gaining admission into Funaab.

POST UTME SCORE*
Whatever you score in post utme will be multiply by 0.3. A post Utme score of 100 for instance will be multiplied by 0.3 which gives 30%. This implies that, post Utme score constitutes 30% of gaining admission into Funaab.

O’LEVEL *

A1- 6pt
B2- 5pt
B3- 4pt
C4- 3pt
C5- 2pt
C6- 1pt
Five compulsory subject based on your chosen course will be sum together and multiply by 2/3.

For instance, someone with five A1 in all the five compulsory subjects, that will be 6*5 equals 30.
Total point of 30 will now be multiplied by 2/3 which gives 20%. O’Level constitutes 20% of gaining admission into Funaab.

COMPOSITE SCORE***
Jamb score- 50%
Post Utme score- 30%
O’Level- 20%.
Total: 100%

Admission is based on aforementioned composite score.
